Blog 3: The Taste of Nostalgia
The crinkle of the wrapper is the first sign. It's a familiar sound, a promise of something refreshing. The small, hard disc feels cool and smooth in your hand. The perfect little package of potential. You can almost feel the anticipation building as you get ready to enjoy it. It's not like other foods or snacks really, it's truly a different experience, an experience hard to put into words.

The way it moves in your mouth is interesting. It might melt slowly, or it might crunch, depending on how you choose to enjoy it. The flavor is a burst of cool, clean, and fresh that awakens your senses. It lacks spice, which I honestly favor. That's especially how it differs then the others it is compared to and or competing with. It's a taste that brings back memories of childhood, simple days after school asking my mom for one knowing she kept several in her purse. To this day when I open one, I travel to young elementary school me with my mom.
This little treat is more than a sweet sometimes. It's a moment of pure enjoyment. A sweet moment I travel to from time to time when I pop one open. It's a reminder to slow down, savor the moment, and appreciate the simple things in life.
